NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon
Typography nerds, rejoice! NikeLab and Roundel has come together to mark the legacy of the Transport of London's (TfL's) widely recognized sans-serif font— Johnston100. The classic font was created by Edward Johnson in 1916 to bring unity and cohesiveness for the widely used transport system in London. The Johnston typeface is still in use over the city to this day and will now grace the upper of the Nike Spiridon in two clean color ways.
The Spiridon's uppers are laden with letters, numbers, and other special glyphs as an ode to the city's 90s inspired head-to-toe look. Both color ways feature a 3M vamp and piping with navy and silver dominating the upper.
The NikeLab collaboration will go on sale exclusively at Charing Cross station (Trafalgar Square Entrance) on November 9th.
