The Air Jordan 1 BRED Remastered 2016 release date is set for September 3rd.

UPDATE [7/21]: In all it's glory, Jordan Brand finally unveils the official Banned Air Jordan 1 retro. Peep the detailed photos below.

UPDATE [6/6]: We have our first look at the upcoming retro and Jordan Brand looks to use a softer tumbled leather throughout the shoes. Similar to the Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1, the toe and heel seem to have improved quality than the 2013 release. The shape looks closer to the '94 retro as well.

Just barely three years after its last retro, Jordan Brand is bringing back the most iconic Air Jordan shoe ever. NBA once banned it and since then the shoe game has never been the same.

They could retro the Bred AJ1 a million times and it'll never get old.

The only question us sneakerheads have is will the quality be impeccable like Shattered Backboards or will it be just decent like the Chicago Air Jordan 1 from 2015?

Images have yet to be leaked. However, mark your calendars because September 3rd, 2016 is CONFIRMED. Stick with TSG for updates in the near future.
