KICKS LAB x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Hikeshi Hanten”
Harajuku, Tokyo is home to sneaker boutique KICKS LAB, whose been consistently giving fans collaborative product to fawn over. Now, the Japanese boutique gives domestic and foreign fans a new concept color way of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III that’s wholly infused with “wa” which translates into Japanese culture. The term, “Hikeshi” is the dated Japanese term for a firefighter which represents the uniforms of those in service with indigo, vermillion, and white on the uppers and midsole.
The upper feature KICKS LAB branding on the tongue and a special printed insole designed by sneakerwolf, an artist well known for his Kanji-Graphy style which also graced the “UENO/SAKURA” Nike Air Force 1 from 2005. Look for these to drop on KICKS LAB webstore on December 10th for around $160USD.
