Marshawn Lynch Gives McDonald's Employee a Bunch of Money For Sneakers
Marshawn Lynch just made a McDonald employee's year and possibly life.
It's no secret that the Seattle Seahawks Running Back loves sneakers. So much so, he was threatened by the NFL to stop wearing flashy kicks on the field last year.
Lynch's Buscemi sneakers caught the eye of Terrance Downs at McDonalds, who happened to be mopping the floors at the time. After paying the Running Back a compliment on his sneakers, Marshawn decided to give the kid some inspiration.
TMZ has the scoop:
"I told him I liked his shoes -- navy blue Buscemis -- and how I wanted to buy a pair and we all started talking."
Lynch asked him about school and what he wanted to do in life, and Downs told him he's into fashion and wants to own a boutique one day.
That's when Lynch whipped out $500 and handed it over ... telling Downs, "If you're serious about getting those shoes, here's some money to help you get 'em. My job is to continue to see you grow."
Downs actually went out and purchased the Buscemi sneakers with the money Marshawn Lynch gave him. He also went on to state the kind gesture gave him more motivation to be successful.
Shout out to Lynch for sharing his passion of sneakers to inspire someone. No matter what happens on the field at the 1 yard line, Marshawn is clearing winning in life.
If you were in the shoes of Marshawn Lynch, would you do the same?
