As if the headline is providing new information. Ha!

According to Forbes, Under Armour had a very impressive first quarter, thanks to help of Curry. It’s reported UA’s revenue was $1.047 billion for the first three months of 2016. UA’s footwear sales are up 64% to $264 million from $161 million (UA’s first quarter 2015).

Under Armour cites the growth success to Curry’s basketball line and their new running shoes. However, we all know Steph has put UA in a great place as far as their footwear business and brand exposure is concerned. Curry adds the creditability that UA has been in need of since stepping into the athletic footwear market.

With Curry winning back to back MVP, Scoring Title, 402 three-pointers, and the potential to win back to back Championships, it will be very interesting to see how much more that impact’s UA’s footwear sales.
